Systems Atlanta conducts a variety of training courses throughout the year at customer locations (on-site), at our corporate facility (in-house), and even virtually in some situations.

On-site courses are conducted worldwide and can be scheduled according to your specific site needs.
All in-house courses are conducted in our Kennesaw, Georgia training facility just a short drive from the Atlanta (ATL) airport. Other in-house course dates may be made available upon request.

IDS5 Database Administrator Course (5-days)

The IDS5 Database Administrator Course is a comprehensive class that covers all aspects of IDS5 database development. This course gives database administrators the background, knowledge, and skills to effectively create, customize, maintain, and manage the IDS5 database. Students will learn how to use the capabilities and features of the system in the best possible way to support their operations.

IDS5 Advanced Database Development Course (3-days)

This 3-day IDS5 Advanced Database Development Course is specifically designed for previously trained Air Force Airfield Automation System (AFAS) and Army Airfield Automation System (AAAS) Database Administrators who would like to strengthen their existing skills and harness the newest features available in IDS5.

Course Description

Hands-on Experience

Much like the full IDS5 Database Administrator Course, the advanced course includes a great deal of practical lab work providing students with the necessary hands-on experience to further advance their own system's capabilities. Additionally, students are encouraged to bring copies of their site's database, so course projects can be applied and later imported into their live AFAS / AAAS database, if desired.
