5-Day in-house System Administrator Refresher/Upgrade Training Course.
New features and capabilities are part of every new release of
IDS5; version 1.5 is one of the most innovative and
feature rich upgrades to date.
The new IDS5 version 1.5 system administrator course covers all aspects
of IDS5 and is designed to meet the needs of new and current
administrators. Our goal is to provide you with the skills necessary
to maintain and improve your IDS5 database along with detailed instruction
and assistance in combining new features into your existing system.
If you are new to IDS5 administration, or just want to refresh and
improve your skills, this class is for you.
Systems Atlanta's in-house IDS5 training course is designed specifically for:
- System Administrators at existing IDS5 locations that have some experience with the system.
- New System Administrators at facilities with established databases who have not had formal training.
- System Administrators previously trained but in need of refresher training.
- System Administrators who receive a version upgrade & need training on new features.
Additionally, Systems Atlanta’s in-house courses offer
tremendous opportunities for system administrators to
network and share ideas, practices, and lessons learned.
With networking in mind, we ask that you bring a copy of
your database. Administrators will have an opportunity to
see how other facilities are utilizing their systems. The
cross flow of database building ideas from different
organizations make your location’s IDS5 a more robust
system.
NOTE: This course is not a replacement to the on-site System Administrator training course that is conducted during initial system installation.

The IDS5 version 1.5 in-house system administrator class is 5 full days beginning on Monday morning and ending Friday afternoon. Class hours are 0800-1630.

The IDS5 version 1.4 in-house system administrator class is 4 full days beginning on Tuesday morning and ending Friday afternoon. Class hours are 0800-1630.
Accommodations can be made for additional dates upon request.
