Systems Atlanta, Inc.

Systems Atlanta, Inc. is a leading supplier of Integrated Information Display & Dissemination Systems (IDS) for air traffic control and the aviation industry. Our latest IDS5 software product suite is an advanced information management toolset designed to meet the needs of both civilian and military Air Traffic Control (ATC), airport / airfield management, airlines, and emergency management customers.

IDS5 provides rapid access to a wide array of information originating from multiple sources, all integrated for real-time access, consolidated display, and distribution over local and wide area networks. Thus, IDS5 serves as a combined data display, data integration, and data distribution platform, promoting situational awareness and efficiency of air traffic control operations.

SAI’s IDS5 and earlier IDS4 are operational in more than 500 civilian and military air traffic control facilities throughout the National Airspace System (NAS). Flexibility of the IDS product line allows these systems to meet the needs of many different types and sizes of aviation facilities. Most of these systems are located at controller positions in towers, radar approach control facilities, and automated flight service stations. Various facilities may be linked through IDS for information sharing between ATC and other aviation entities, such as airport and airline operation centers.

SAI maintains continual evolution of our IDS software products through our Independent Research & Development (IR&D) initiative. Each new IDS model is state of the art at the time of delivery and purposely designed with the capacity for enhancement scalability, a growth platform.

SAI has been in business for more than three decades. Having pioneered in the area of IDS for air traffic control, we have over 25 years experience with design & development of the IDS product line. During that time, we have fielded IDS models 1-5 for the FAA and/or the US military. No other vendor worldwide has as much experience in successful development and implementation of IDS systems in diverse operational air traffic control environments.
